Ruined and Refitted

Face to face encounters with God, make it nearly impossible for people to live the same way they did before they encountered Him.  Think of Jacob – he limped, Moses – he glowed and people were afraid to look at him, and Mary mother of Jesus – carried the stigma of having had an “illegitimate” son…just to name a few…

Face to face with God changes things.

So, here’s a new journal “challenge” – consider this…if The Lord were right there in your very presence, and you were ministering directly TO Him…how would you complete this sentence “Lord, You are…” or “Lord, I…”  Try and complete this as many different ways as possible.  Your most important daily activity is to minister TO The Lord…what would you say in His actual Presence to His face?

Several years ago, around my kitchen table – surrounded by friends I made this statement “I am truly RUINED for anything less EVERYTHING He IS!!  I simply won’t settle for anything less.”

This statement has cost me dearly.  I’m extreme.  I’m too intense.  Life has become physically solitary in many ways.  I’ve lost friends.  This is a cost worth paying.

I experience the manifest Presence regularly.  I’ve lived from this reality for most of my adult life.  I simply cannot live the same way, my experience with Him – not my knowledge of Him – has changed my reality!  My appetite to be “all up in His face” is insatiable and almost more than I can bear at times.

I simply MUST have MORE of Him at any cost!

It’s an EXTREME statement to make and yet I have been fitted with EXTREME GRACE (Noun – Divine influence on a heart with it’s reflection in life) to experience Him as I’m  completely and beautifully ruined and refitted.

Short and sweet.

Join me, won’t you ?  Get “all up in His face” and be “beautifully ruined and refitted”.

Most joyfully,

Lori
