A Modern Day Transformer!

“Remember “Who” you are and” Who’s” you are.”  We’ve said it a hundred times if we’ve said it once, right?  Beyond a “tagline” what does it mean really?

This was the thought process that started my day today.

The way and the things on which we think are either FOR HIM or AGAINST HIM.  There it is.

Extreme, I know.  However, the reality is that my mind is either set on things above or on things of the flesh.  (see Philippians 3)  We must be able to discern the sometimes critically subtle differences of such “thinking’s”.  If we don’t train our thinking, by taking every thought captive and attaching it to Christ, we can find ourselves agreeing with and thereby giving authority to the enemy without even a conscience thought!  Shocking but true!

2 Corinthians 10:5  “We demolish arguments and every pretension that sets itself up against the knowledge of God, and we take every thought captive to make it obedient to Christ.”

Thinking from Heaven’s perspective acknowledges two integral facts about IDENTITY and PLACEMENT.

Colossians 3:2-3  “Set your mind on things above, not on earthly things.  For you died, and your life is now hidden with Christ in God.”

Understanding fully “Who I am” and “who’s I am”, according to what God says, and where I stand in Him will (should) dictate my thought life — to be in line with His sustained SUPERNATURAL NATURE — THIS SUPERNATURAL NATURE is an actually  saturated Miracle Territory…a literal place where Heaven regularly touches Earth…just like Jacob seeing the ladder upon which angels ascended and descended in Genesis 28.

Fully grasping this truth will redefine the “acceptable Christian life” from one that only occasionally experiences the miraculous to one that is actually replete with sustained transformation and the miraculous.

Romans 12:2  

 ^2 “Do not conform to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Then you will be able to test and approve what God’s will is—his good, pleasing and perfect will.”

The ability to train oneself to think to think FROM Heaven’s perspective, where I am hidden in Christ, is an invaluable asset that I MUST possess as a modern day “Transformer”!
