Do You Need New Eyes?
Worship & praise ~ giving thanks and rejoicing precede and usher in WISDOM AND REVELATION!
Ephesians 1:15-21
“For this reason I too, having heard of the faith in the Lord Jesus which exists among you and your love for all the saints, do not cease giving thanks for you, while making mention of you in my prayers; that the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of glory, may give to you a spirit of wisdom and of revelation [of insight into mysteries and secrets] in the [deep and intimate] knowledge of Him. I pray that the eyes of your heart may be enlightened, so that you will know what is the hope of His calling, what are the riches of the glory of His inheritance in the saints,”
19 And [so that you can know and understand] what is the immeasurable and unlimited and surpassing greatness of His power in and for us who believe, as demonstrated in the working of His mighty strength,
20 Which He exerted in Christ when He raised Him from the dead and seated Him at His [own] right hand in the heavenly [places],
21 Far above all rule and authority and power and dominion and every name that is named [above every title that can be conferred], not only in this age and in this world, but also in the age and the world which are to come.
Worship and praise ~ rejoicing and giving thanks ARE the entry point into a new way of SEEING!
I can’t help but be emboldened when I read this passage! We need to see things the way God sees things!
Oh how I long for His eyes to be transplanted as my own!
Friends, we were made to be a conduit, from Heaven to Earth, a conduit of HOPE…hope that is born from LOVE! Love that bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things, endures all things. Love never fails. (1 Cor 13:7 & 8)
To be this conduit — we need new lens for our eyes — we need supernaturally enlightened eyes!
We need to see the Kingdom, the glory and the Presence of God…we need new lenses for that.
If you need new lenses, just ask the Father for an upgrade. If you can upgrade your cell phone plan you can certainly upgrade your way of thinking and seeing.
Just pray, “Father change my lens, I want to see things your way, open my eyes that I may see, for the Name and for the sake of Jesus.” Amen!
The Father responds, “I will show you great and wonderous things…I’m gonna mess with your vision…Get ready…here goes…” 🙂 “…better here…or here?” 🙂
