Marriages Under Attack

Dear Fellow Family Builders,

I opened my email today and received an mail from Dennis Rainey of Family Life.  The email was concerning a billboard that appeared in his home town.  This billboard was sponsored by Ashley Madison, a company who’s business is promoting and enabling extra marital affairs.  Their tagline is “Life is Short, Have an Affair” and boasts over 24 million members.  The billboard brought to my attention states: “Who said Cheaters Never Prosper?  Happy President’s Day!

As a husband and a father this absolutely turned my stomach.  It is a prime example of how marriages come under attach every day.  Please be in prayer for all marriages across the US and the world as the enemy seeks to destroy God’s foundation.  I am reminded of these attacks every time we host an Art of Marriage event.  As we close in on our next event March 21st, I receive numerous calls from couples who are in trouble or throwing in the towel after years of marriage.  They are searching for a glimpse of the Light that heal and repair their marriage.

Below is the home page of Ashley Madison

We as Believers must set the example in our marriages, our families and the actions of our sons and daughters.  I encourage all of you who are married to emphasize your commitment to your spouse on a regular basis, to encourage others in their marriage and family relationships and to continue to raise your children as the future fathers and mothers God wants them to be.

Do not give a foothold to the enemy!  Attend the Art of Marriage March 21st and 22nd

We love you all!

In His Service,

Scott Clifton
